What is Resident Involvement:
Resident Involvement is a two-way process which involves both residents (tenants and leaseholders) and the Council sharing ideas and allows residents to influence the decisions made in service delivery.
At Dartford Borough Council we hold residents at the very heart of our service delivery and we want to work with you to ensure that we are delivering the services that you want and in a way that is accessible to all.
To help us do this we have introduced a number of ways you can get involved and have your say. The opportunities for involvement vary and allow residents the opportunity to get involved at different levels depending on the time you have to spare.
Why get involved:
By giving the Council your views you can make a real difference to the services you receive. The Council wants to make it as easier as possible for you to do this, so offer a menu of involvement for you to choose from. The menu includes being involved from your own home, by attending events or meetings and in a range of other ways.
You have the opportunity to give your views on issues that are important to you and your community.
You can offer your suggestions on service improvements, to the people who have the authority to make those improvements.
