Join us for a parade through the town centre.
The celebrations kick off with live entertainment along the High Street from 12pm to 1.30pm.
Children from 12 local schools will parade from the Civic Centre at 1.35pm, led by St George, the dragon, stilt walkers and performances from brass bands, street entertainers, and fusion drummers.
The parade will walk through The Orchards Shopping Centre, through the High Street and stop briefly in Memorial Gardens so that the flag of St George can be raised.
They will then head to the bandstand in Central Park for more live entertainment.
