About the consultation
We’re inviting views on our draft Running a Business from Home Policy.
The objective of the policy is to encourage Council tenants and leaseholders to set up businesses from home. It is appreciated that home enterprise can have a positive impact by increasing people’s income but also equipping them with experience and skills, which in turn can improve employment prospects for the future.
We’ve reviewed our existing Home Enterprise Policy to ensure it is up to date. As part of the review we’re proposing to rename the policy ‘Running a Business from Home’ to provide clarity on the purpose of the policy. We’d like to hear views from our tenants and leaseholders on the draft updated policy as your feedback is useful in further shaping and influencing the policy.
