The Bandstand

The Bandstand is located in Central Park plays hosts to free concerts throughout the summer every year. It's also a key landmark for events like the Big Day Out, our St George's Day Parade and the Festival of Light.

Central Park is located in the heart of Dartford Town Centre which is easily accessed by train, bus, car, foot or bike. If you are driving, the nearest car park is Acacia (View Acacia Car Park in Google Maps).

The entrances to Central Park are on Market Street, Cranford Road and Darenth Road.

A series of bandstand concerts occur every year over the summer. All of them will be listed on our events page with full dates, times and performers. All the concerts are free and not ticketed. Just turn up on the day.

The concerts take place in the open air with little shade or shelter, so make sure you're prepared for the weather that day.

There are a limited number of free deckchairs available on a first come, first serve basis. You are welcome to bring your fold up chairs and blankets, but gazebos and large parasol type umbrellas should stay at home as these restrict the view for other visitors. You can bring your own picnic, but alternatively the Café in the Park have a wide range of goodies on offer

You are allowed to bring your dog into the park, we just ask you to clear up after your dog.

There are toilet facilities next to te Cafe in the Park and next to the Cranford Road entrance to the park. This includes accessible toilets and baby change facilities.

If you have an access enquiry in advance of the concerts, please either contact us online or phone 01322 343351. We would also value your feedback on the Access Info we have provided and your experience of our concerts.
