My Dartford

This exhibition showcases the exceptional artistic talents of students from Dartford Grammar School for Boys. It is the culmination of a house competition that saw entries from the school’s five houses - Havelock, Wilson, Da’eth, Vaughan, and Gwyn, each named after the school’s founders. Students were tasked with creating artwork inspired by the theme 'My Dartford', exploring their personal and collective connections to the local area through a range of mediums, including painting, drawing, and mixed media.

The exhibition captures the rich history, vibrant culture, and unique character of Dartford as seen through the eyes of the students. From architectural landmarks and natural landscapes to personal experiences and memories, the pieces reflect a deep sense of place and community. The friendly rivalry between the houses has only heightened the creativity and enthusiasm of the students, making this exhibition a powerful celebration of both their artistic skills and their pride in Dartford.
