Looking to make a difference in your local Greenspaces? Interested in spending time outdoors and exploring nature? Then look no further than Dartford Heath and Darenth Country Park.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our team and help us maintain and improve these beautiful natural areas. As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of tasks, from clearing footpaths and planting trees to leading guided nature walks and helping out at events.

No previous experience is necessary, and we welcome volunteers of all ages and backgrounds. All we ask is that you are passionate about nature and willing to get your hands dirty!

In return for your time and effort, you'll get to spend time in some of the most stunning natural areas around Dartford, meet like-minded people, and make a real difference to the local environment.

Dartford Heath Volunteers:
On Tuesday Dartford Heath volunteers work on Dartford Heath, clearing footpaths and rides, maintaining open heathland areas, and clearing scrub and burnt areas in the winter. Other jobs include step repair, installing bollards and benches and clearing fallen or hazardous trees.

We meet at Heath Lane car park at 10:00am and run till 13:00pm

Darenth Country Park Volunteers:
Darenth Country Park volunteers meet on Thursdays every in Darenth Country Park carrying out maintenance tasks, fencing, hedge laying, clearing footpaths, clearing scrub, orchard Pruning and tree works in the winter.

We meet at their workshop in Bailiffs Cottage, adjacent to the Arrow Riding Centre at 09:00am and run till 12:00pm
