The Dartford Plan to 2037
Local Plan policies are the basis for decision making on planning applications across the Borough, including at Ebbsfleet and Dartford town centre. They guide infrastructure and investment, and support the local environment.
Dartford's new Local Plan (‘The Dartford Plan’) plans ahead to 2037, and is accompanied by a new Policies Map:
The Plan was adopted 22nd April 2024 after a series of public consultations, an independent examination and receipt of the Inspector’s Report.
The Dartford Plan replaces all core strategy and development plan policies in previous Local Plans for the Borough. (These remain available for archive purposes only: The Core Strategy 2011 and Development Policies Plan 2017).
