1. Collections can only be made from residential properties whose address is with the borough of Dartford. We do not collect from commercial premises.
2. The service is only for households to dispose of personal bulky items and cannot be used for any business or commercial activities. This service is not for landlords, letting agents or management companies.
3. We do not collect commercial waste or items designed for commercial use, such as commercial fridges.
4. This service does not included the removal of asbestos or hazardous waste.
5. We only collect items that are under 2metres in length. Items that are longer than 2 metres will not be collected
6. The team carrying out the collections will only accept items from the approved items listed in your order. We do not collect some items such as rubble, hardcore, soil, kitchen units, bathroom suites, fence panels and garden waste. Large bulky household items only.
7. The team are not allowed to enter any property to carry out a special collection. All items to be collected must be placed at the front of your property by 6am on the collection day, and have clear and level access. We do not collect items located in garages, rear gardens or remove items from up/down stairs. We will not provide a refund if the items are not ready for collection on the date booked when the team arrive to collect them.
8. Persistent organic pollutants (POPs) such as upholstered furniture, and fridges may be collected on a different day to your booking.
9. If collections cannot take place on the booked date due to exceptional or unforeseen circumstances, for example adverse weather conditions or vehicle breakdown, a collection can be rearranged on an agreed date at the next earliest available opportunity without incurring a charge.
10. If your collection is missed by our contractor, than you must contact us within 5 working days to arrange an alternative date. Refunds will not be made for missed collections.
11. If items are removed by other parties before we make a collection that is at your risk and no refund or part credit will be made.
12. If the team carrying out the collection have to leave due to abusive and/or aggressive behaviour, they will not return to collect the remaining listed items.
13. If you do not comply with these terms and conditions, then we may cancel your booking. In such circumstances the fee paid will be non-refundable.
