Turn2Us is an online resource that helps people in financial hardship gain access to welfare benefits, charitable grants and support services.
ABF (The Soldiers' Charity) provides financial assistance to serving and former members of the Armed Forces. Help includes war widow and family financial support, annuities and care home fees, mobility assistance and home modifications, education bursaries and debt relief - 0207 901 8900.
RAF Benevolent Fund is a charity for serving and former members of the RAF as well as their partners and dependent children. Help includes Regular Financial Assistance, help with unexpected and unaffordable one-off costs, priority bills and debts, state benefits, unexpected housing costs and care home fees - 0300 102 1919.
Royal Navy Benevolent Trust is a charity for serving and former Royal Navy ratings and Royal Marines other ranks, as well as their partners, children and some others connected with them. Kent Support and Assistance Service may be able to help if you're having serious difficulties managing your income or facing exceptional pressure because of an emergency or crisis. They do not offer money but may be able to help with essential home items.
